The ELTEC TP-05 electronic regulator

1. How many heating circuits can the ELTEC TP-05 electronic regulator regulate?
The TP-05 regulator allows the regulation of up to four heating circuits or up to three heating circuits and one sanitary hot water circuit (STV).

2. Is it possible to connect a thermal sensor to the regulator?
The regulator has a built-in M-Bus interface that supports the connection of up to five thermal sensors.

3. Is it possible to connect the regulator to a remote control system?
The regulator can be connected to a remote control system. It supports communication over the Lon Talk protocol and has a built-in LonWorks TP/FT 10 interface, in addition to the built-in RS232 interface with ModBus communication and an SD/MMC memory card interface.

4. How do you set the system for the preparation of sanitary hot water?
The regulator has 40 different heating systems set by default. It allows the preparation of sanitary hot water in different ways. By selecting an appropriate system, the method of sanitary hot water preparation is selected. The heating systems are shown in the Instructions for Use, Assembly and Maintenance on page 38. The system can be set in the System Settings level (Instructions page 13).

5. Is the display available in Serbian?
In the System Settings level you can choose between Slovenian, Serbian, Croatian, and English.

6. Does the regulator allow temperature limiting of the return temperature?
Limiting the return can be set individually for each of the heating circuits. You will find a detailed description in the Instructions for Use, Assembly and Maintenance on page 22. If a temperature sensor is connected, the regulator allows limiting, including limiting of the maximum power and flow. The limiting of the power and flow can be set in the Service Settings level (Instructions page 29).

7. Does the regulator allow the archiving of data?
A Data Logger is built-in. Additionally, it is possible to log different data into external memory. The SD/MMC memory cards are most suitable for this task. The archiving of data can be set according to the quantity and frequency of data capture. Simply insert the memory card into the regulator adapter. The data will be written to an Excel file (CSV).

8. What does the reference inlet temperature mean?
This is the desired inlet temperature, calculated by the regulator and controlled accordingly by the valve actuator so that the actual inlet temperature reaches the reference temperature.

9. What is the return temperature?
It is the temperature measured in the return pipe.

10. What is the reference step?
The reference step is the time period in which the inlet temperature slowly increases during the transition from reduced to normal heating modes and the time period when the inlet temperature slowly decreases during the transition from normal to reduced heating modes.
