The EL-TEC MULEJ d.o.o. company has actively participated in the
INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF DISTRICT HEATING 2010
in Grand hotel Bernardin Portorož from 21nd  – 23rd of March 2010.
We presented:

-    EFFECTIVE PLANNING AND MANAGING OF HEAT SUBSTATIONS

In March 2009 Javno podjetje Energetika Ljubljana and EL-TEC Mulej agreed to a contract for "Supply and installation of measurement equipement at the various points of the district heating network and connecting the control points to the telemetry system."

The goal of the project was to achieve real-time measuring on the most critical points in the district heating network. 23 critical network points were equipped with measurements of current flow, pressure and temperature. Measurements are captured with precise sensors, which are connected to electronic controller ELTEC TP-05 and transferred to the control centre using Canopy secure wireless network..

Obtained data allow a better overview of the current situation in the most critical points of the system of district heating in Ljubljana and are improving system performance of the techno-economic optimization with ELTEC TERMIS system. ELTEC TERMIS enables optimal management of the heat distribution and increased reliability and quality of energy supply.
 

Consortium RUDIS – EL-TEC MULEJ and Ministry of mining and energy Republic of Serbia have signed a contract for substations, equipment and heat meters for the district heating companies (Toplanas) Niš, Kragujevac, Pirot and including installation services of the delivered goods for Niš in amount of 1.200.000 €. Among strong competitors the Consortium bid has been chosen as the most suitable offer.

This project is German-Serbian financial cooperation through the loan and financing agreement between KfW Entwicklungsbank and the Republic of Serbia for program of rehabilitation of the district heating systems in Serbia.

Contract includes delivery and  implementation of  122 Electronic Regulator ELTEC TP-05 for district heating with all measure-regulation equipment  (calorimeters, regulation valves, sensors) for  district heating company (Toplana) Niš, delivery of over 1.500 calorimeters different dimensions for Toplana Kragujevac and 16 compact substations with all regulation equipment, based on Electronic Regulator ELTEC TP-05 for Toplana Pirot.

The district heating companies will be able to implement modern technical solutions for local regulation, measurement of energy consumption, remote control and supervision of heating substations with ELTEC SCADA system.

The main goal of project is renovation and modernization of heat stations in district heating systems in order to reduce losses during distribution and delivery of heat energy.
Increasing efficiency of district heating systems will contribute to economical operations of distributor and increase customer satisfaction.
 

El-tec Mulej Bled has signed a contract for “Upgrade of operating tool for managing district heating network ELTEC TERMIS” with JKP Belgrade Elektrane, the largest distributor of heat energy in Serbia.

"With the new modules for optimizing performance in real time we intend to improve the quality of heat supply and assure competitive prices.  At the same time this operating tool will help us to improve network efficiency," said general manager of JKP Beogradske elektrane, Mr. Zoran Predic.

 "Energy efficiency heating system is surely a basic rule for all district heating distributors. The system also contributes to achieve European goals in relation with climate changes," said assistant of general manager for Energy Management and Planning, Mr. Petar Vasiljevic.

»We are proud that JKP Beogradske elektrane, who operates with  the largest district heating system in Serbia, entrust us the upgrade of operating tool for managing district heating network«, said general manager of  EL-TEC Mulej, Jože Torkar.

Company EL-TEC Mulej will implement programme modules Termis Operation (real-time operation) on heating systems TO Konjarnik and  TO Voždovac and also Termis Temperature Optimization (optimizing a supply temperature) on heating system TO Konjarnik. At the same time EL-TEC Mulej will do the training of staff members and take part in integration of operating tool TERMIS in existed system of district heating company.
 

EL-TEC MULEJ d.o.o. company actively participated in the 40th  INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON HEATING, REFRIGERATING AND AIR-CONDITIONING, which took place in Center Sava, Belgrade from 2nd – 4th of December, 2009.

On exhibition stand No. 76-77, EL TEC MULEJ d.o.o. presented products and solutions in the field of district heating: compact heating stations for district heating, ELTEC TP-05 electronic regulator, the ELTEC SCADA remote supervision and control system and the ELTEC TERMIS software tool, which allows for the planning and managing of district energy system.

Company EL-TEC MULEJ, d.o.o. attendied international symposium VODNI DNEVI 2009 that took place on 21. and 22. October in Grand Hotel Bernardin, Portorož.

We presented possibilities and benefits of use of powerfull software tool ELTEC AQUIS regarding on optimization of planning and managing water distribution systems. Also we presented the scheme of Contractual assurance of water leakage reduction in water distribution systems, as a possibility of financing this kind of investments.

On Thursday, 22. October at 10.20 presented an article »Water distribution system management and planning« that was made in collaboration with Komunala Velenje representatives and Faculty of civil engineering, University of Maribor. Contents deals with actual challanges of Slovenian and European water distribution systems.

Street lighting is an area where relatively high electricity savings can be achieved along with better illumination of the roadways (higher safety and level of quality of street lighting) and lower light pollution levels in accordance with the Decree on Limit Values due to Light Pollution of the Environment.

The Gorje Municipality is the first municipality in Slovenia to have opted for a  contractual form of ensuring electricity savings in the area of public lighting.

Efficient energy and water consumption in swimming pools is a major challenge in the area of energy efficiency,  reducing costs and consequently greenhouse gas emissions.

As part of the Contractual Financing of Measures towards Efficient Energy Consumption in the Kranj City Municipality project, in 2006, EL-TEC Mulej began implementing measures for reducing energy and water consumption in the facilities of the indoor Olympic swimming pool and the summer bathing area. In the 15year contract period, EL-TEC MULEJ guarantees a reduction in the consumption of electricity by 56% and a 70% reduction in the consumption of water for filter washing compared to the figures prior to the renovation.
