Cities Kragujevac, Kraljevo, Niš, Pirot, Sombor and Zrenjanin represent approximately 40 % of production capacities in district heating systems in Serbia, except cities of Belgrade and Novi Sad.
In this project, financed from the side of German
KfW bank, in the period from May 2009 till August 2009, EL-TEC Mulej implemented programme modules
TERMIS of Danish manufacturer 7-Techologies, which are
Model Manager (model building) and
Termis Basis (termohydraulic modelling), done the training of staff members and took part in integration of
TERMIS software in existing systems of toplanas.
Main objective of this project was implementation of termohydraulic network calculation software, including training of staff members. Results of analysis will be used for checking the adequacy of dimensioning of new pipelines in a new KfW project for rebuilding of district heating network.
Workshops were very useful for all participants, new knowledge was won, experiences were exchanged and basics for work in dimensioning, optimising and further expanding of district heating systems were set. Local and foreign consultants of KfW bank were always present on the workshops as also representatives of
Ministry for mining and energy, which gave the project special meaning.
